Customer Testimonials

  1. 1. Andy. H (Drummer - Fallout Boy) of Wisconsin

I absolutely love my Blade. Best laptop ever made. Finally, a light weight, slim, and super powerful laptop for gaming. I am in touring bands, so this is a revolution for me. I use it pretty much every day on my off time on tour - at coffee shops, venues, in the van or bus, and at the airport. I also use it for gaming every day when I’m home too, so it's not just for mobile use. I grinded my way to level 50 and I’m working on my BM PVP gear on SWTOR with this laptop, and mostly while I’m on tour! So I am in love with it.

  2. 2. Adam. H (Student / Gamer) of Massachusetts

I absolutely love my Blade. It’s definitely a major improvement over my last laptop. As a college student, I am lugging my laptop around campus all day and having the Blade makes it that much easier. The light weight really helps my back, not to mention it plays everything without a problem at the highest settings. The battery life is also great, and I like being able to go through multiple classes without needing to be plugged in. So if I'm late for class because I was busying pwning noobz in League of Legends and I miss the chance to get an outlet, I know the Blade can still get through the class without it. The Blade also looks amazing to boot. No logo is quite like the Razer logo. I am glad I made this purchase, and I know I will continue to purchase Razer products for years to come.

  3. 3. Frankie. M (Skeptic to Believer) of New York

Well, the day I bought it, I was a bit skeptical spending $3000 for a first of its kind laptop. As soon as I got it in my hands and opened it up, I was amazed at how beautiful this laptop was. I’ve had an Alienware, but this is by far the best laptop I have ever owned. It runs my games at what they need to be run at. It’s not 100 frames, but who cares, its lighter and thinner. The design of the Blade itself makes me speechless. Its smooth, edgy, and has that nice cold feel like a knife’s Blade. So I have to give it to the design team on that. So next I started playing with the switchblade UI, and other than the fact that it’s a little picky when it comes to setting pictures for keys, it is perfect for being on the go and I do like the fact that it is to the right and not in the middle. Over all I love my Razer Blade and I really hope they come out with a gen 2 model.

  4. 4. Kenneth. V (Gamer on an island) of Hawaii

So far I love this PC because it looks nice, loads fast, and is easy for me to type on. This is my 3rd laptop, and so far this IS the best one I've ever used. Reason being, it's much faster, and I used to dislike laptops because the touch pad is located where I want my wrist and thumb to rest. Whenever I try to play games, my wrist or my thumb would always touch the track pad, which screws me up when in game and ends up getting me killed by some mobs that I'm not supposed to get killed by. Yes, it is pretty pricey, but HEY, who gives a crap. Just think about the plus side. You get a 17" laptop that's as light as an Apple PC. I think this PC is a pure total gaming PC version of the Mac Book Pro, and I'm so glad that I bought this PC. :D Thank you Razer for making this PC, I will be looking forward to new updates.

  5. 5. JR. G (Gamer on the go) of California

I would have to say that the Razer Blade is a great portable gaming system. Sleek, slim design, and only 6.5 lbs. Compared to the other leading brands like Alienware and Asus that are big and bulky, the Blade is the first of its generation. It’s hard to find a powerful, portable, and slim gaming laptop, and the Blade is my gaming laptop of choice.

  6. 6. Dario. W (TeamLiquid – TLO) of Germany

I really enjoy using the Razer Blade, not just because it runs Starcraft II perfectly, but because it feels like it's the final piece in completing the full set of Razer Gear. It's the center piece of a suave looking black and green set up, and it just ties everything together. Also, as a standalone it's got me a surprising amount of compliments. Random people at airports have asked me what brand of laptop I'm using, and they've even asked for pictures. The designers at Razer must really know what they're doing.

  7. 7. Jonathan. W (TeamLiquid – Jinro) of Germany

My home computer runs Starcraft II flawlessly, so I'm always annoyed at the drop in performance when I have to practice on other computers at tournaments all over the world. However, the Razer Blade ran the game just as great as my desktop back at home. Hell, the thing even boots up faster. Overall, it's a really fast, great looking piece of work that's just fun to use, and it makes me wish that Razer would try their hand at designing things outside of gaming.

  8. 8. Hayder. H (TeamLiquid – HayprO) of Sweden

I had never been interested in laptops before because all the ones I had tried were either bad for gaming, or just too heavy and bulky to be even called laptops. The first thing I noticed about the Razer Blade was how slim it was, and I was really shocked when I read the tech specs because they managed to fit some serious gaming hardware inside that body. Starcraft II plays on the Blade just as well as it does on my desktop computer, and it's a real competitive advantage since I can get in good practice no matter what tournament I'm at.

  9. 9. Shawn . S (TeamLiquid – Sheth) of USA

I'm used to traveling and having to leave the games I enjoy at home, since most laptops are just sub-par imitations of real gaming computers. With the Razer Blade, I feel like I'm bringing my desktop along when I'm on the road. Actually, it's even better than my laptop, since it runs all of my games even better. It's easy to carry around, not heavy at all, and absolutely amazing if you're traveling. Gaming can be a chore sometimes when you're away from home, but the Blade allows me a great deal of comfort. All I have to do is plug in my DeathAdder and BlackWidow Stealth and it's just like I'm playing at home.

  10. 10. Joseph. K TeamLiquid – Ret) of Netherlands

I've been able to test run the Razer Blade at a few tournaments now, and I absolutely love it. I used to own a top of the line gaming laptop before, but carrying it around to tournaments was always a real pain because of the size and weight of the thing. The Blade is so light and compact, I barely notice I'm even carrying it with me. What's really surprising is that it performs like a top end computer, despite its slim design. It runs Starcraft II effortlessly, so crushing nerds is really no big deal. Even outside Starcraft II – which I play professionally – the Blade is great for everything else I want to do on a computer. It's a perfect platform for Casual games, music, movies, web browsing, etc.

  11. 11. Hyeon Deok. S (TeamLiquid – HerO) of S. Korea

We were first provided with Razer Blades when we went to Las Vegas to compete at IPL4, and they were crucial in letting us practice for our matches in the best environment possible. Because of their impressive portability and great speed, all we had to do was plug in the rest of our gear and we could create a practice-house environment anywhere we went. I think they're a must have when we travel to any tournaments in the future.

  12. 12. Donovan. D (Mobile Gamer) of Montana

I really love the Blade and think it's a fantastic tool for any gamer who wants to be mobile! It really allows people to still game competitively or at least without any handicap while being on the road.

  13. 13. Rick. K (Technology Enthusiast) of California

The Razer Blade is a machine packed with cutting-edge tech. It really feels like it's plucked right out from the future with a gorgeous design, fantastic materials, and the amazing touchpad.

  14. 14. Derek. N (Never 2old2play games) of Massachusetts

I love the touchpad! Seeing our 2old2play logo on the LCD panel is great, and the Switchblade UI with the customizable keys is awesome. I loved the custom bindings, and the fact that there are predefined profiles for tons of my favorite games. The Blade is definitely what other gaming laptops have aspired to be, but have always come short of.

  15. 15. Matt. P (Gaming Guru) of Washington

The Razer Blade will blow away your expectations! While It’s one thing to read about it or see it – what you really want to do is get your hands on one of these beauties to fully experience and appreciate what Razer has done here. The Razer Blade sets a new standard for the capabilities of Gaming Laptops. Don’t settle for less… definitely take a serious look at the Razer Blade.

  16. 16. Karl. B (Interactive Gamer) of New York

This Laptop is an interactive revolution at the tip of your fingers. Easy access to all the apps you need and best potential for multitasking in gaming. Graphics that makes you swear you were in front of a console. Update your status without even stopping your race.

  17. 17. Anthony. K (Mobile Gamer) of California

I love my Razer Blade. I have just gotten into PC gaming and I have bought many Razer products that I love and use everyday so buying the Razer Blade was a no brainer. It is sexy, fast, lightweight, powerful and everyone who sees it has to do a double take and ask what brand it is. It is a jaw dropper and I love bragging to people about how amazing this thing is. The Switchblade UI is always fun to show people and demonstrating how useful it is during gameplay. I never have to kill my phone battery again trying to load a video when I can do it all from my laptop. I take my Blade everywhere with me; the coffee shop, work, on the plane and anywhere else I may be traveling because it is so easy to transport and the battery life is very good considering the power that is contained in it. I love this gaming laptop and it was totally worth the price! Thank you Razer for all your amazing products and most of all my Razer Blade.

  18. 18. Will. H (Satisfied Gamer) of Louisiana

I want to say that I am very pleased with my Razer Blade Laptop. It’s a fantastic machine and I enjoy its features and capabilities. I don’t think I could have made a better purchase. I had no problem fitting it inside my briefcase and with the Razer Blade, I can feel confident in doing work on the go in the same way as I do at home from my desk. The Razer Blade laptop computer has similar power and capability as my desktop computer and, in addition, it looks especially good. I love the way it looks and I love using it. Thanks for making a very well designed and superbly functional machine that is very different from any other machine in existence. It is, without a doubt, the best laptop computer I have owned. Thank you.

  19. 19. William. P (Inspired by design) of Oklahoma

Over the last five years, I have travelled a lot for work. PC gaming is a hobby of mine, and I am unwilling to leave my hobby at home for a week when I hit the road to earn a living. I purchased the Razer Blade as a lot of new games are scheduled for release, and I wanted a laptop that could run these new games without sacrificing the experience of those new games by using a laptop with lower quality hardware. While there were several options on the market for gaming laptops, none of them intrigued me like the Razer Blade did. The design of the Blade is unparalleled. The thought of carrying a two inch + thick laptop with me, that weighed more than twice the Blade made me cringe. Since I am already stuck carrying a company laptop with me, minimizing the luggage factor of my hobby was the deciding factor in purchasing the Blade. So far, I truly enjoy playing my favorite games on the Blade, and look forward to doing so for a long time.
