Q: Does the Razer Electra come with a microphone?

Yes. The Razer Electra comes supplied with two interchangeable 3.5mm audio cables. One has an inline microphone; the other is purely for audio only. Here is how it works:

Q: If I wanted to use the inline microphone on my PC, do I just plug the inline mic cable into the line-in jack on my PC?

A: Depends. The inline microphone will only work if your PC has a single combined audio-out/line-in 3.5mm jack. If your PC does not have such a jack, you will need to purchase a splitter adapter at your local electronics dealer.

Q: How portable is the Razer Electra?

A: The Razer Electra weighs 280 grams (approx.), making it light to wear and carry around. On top of that, the Razer Electra’s ear cups are designed to fold inwards below the headband - taking up minimal space in your bag on the go.

Q. Is the Razer Electra’s headband adjustable for various head sizes?

A. Yes. The Razer Electra is built for all shapes and sizes.

Q. Why does the Razer Electra only have 50mW input power as opposed to some products with 200mW?

A. The Razer Electra uses very high quality drivers. In addition to regular neodymium magnets these drivers have a copper-clad aluminum voice coil, increasing the quality greatly. The sound pressure level is not affected by the lower input power.

Q. Do the Razer Electra headphones drain the battery of my iPod or phone?

A. The Razer Electra does not excessively drain the battery of audio devices. You should not experience higher than normal battery drainage on your battery powered devices.

Q. Do the Razer Electra ear cups isolate ambient noises?

A. The ear cups of the Razer Electra are designed to seal the audio inside and keep distracting noise out. Combined with the high quality leatherette ear cushions the isolation is maximized.
