I had a problem with my original Lachesis and I contacted the seller, but they did nothing. I contacted Razer and they sent me a new one rather quickly. I have yet to encounter a problem with it. Thank you Razer for standing behind your products. | 2. Tanner on 12/3/09 said:
I bought this mouse a while ago and LOVE IT. The sleek design, programmable buttons, the feel of it, the way it slides over my mousepad, the lights, everything is great.I love being able to save the settings right on the mouse and the dpi switching buttons. I have a different dpi mapped out for normal use, rpgs, shooters, sniping, and photoshop. The only con to it is that it might take a while to get used to depending on the mouse you're coming from. I can from a palm mouse and I've found that the Lachesis is more of a finger mouse. So you just use your wrist and finger to move it and dont really touch it with your palm. | 3. Chaz on 11/16/09 said:
This mouse is Amazing. i use the Pirahna Headset, The Tarantula, and the Lachesis and all together they are all amazingly powerful and work Great for any RTS and FPS as wel;l as RPG lol BUt they are amazing every way. | 4. Prorenzo on 9/24/09 said:
I have been using the Razer Lachesis and i have to say its awesome. My hands are medium size and i use the claw grip style and it suits my hand perfectly. Its slightly bulky on the butt tho but it is alright once u get used to it. Accuracy wise its extremely responsive and points where ever i want it to point. I have been improving my kd ratio in fps ever since changing from my salmosa, which was also very good as well. A few minor complains though. The drivers isnt that well made as the other mouse drivers. 2nd, very seldomly it stops responding in a certain direction for 1 or 2 secs, but that occurs very rarely. Btw if u wanna get the lachesis, make sure u are not using a soft pad (im using the goliathus now) it starts jittering whenever u apply slight pressure onto it. There wont be any of that movement if u are using it on a hard surface. I am aiming to get the razer sphex. It will be great if razer would make a right handed ergonomic mouse specially for claw-ing. It be lovely. Overall this is a great mouse and definately worth the price. Good job Razer! | 5. Nomasuras on 9/16/09 said:
I recently purchased this mouse and all i can say is that is beyond epic. I use it on my home machine without any problems.
I strongly feel that this mouse is so good that i would be willing to get another one for work if it wasn't such a waste of its potential.
Thanks Razer for making a mouse so amazingly epic. | 6. Riboflavin on 9/14/09 said:
I literally spent a whole ten minutes just marveling at this mouse's amazing design. The curvature of the mouse fits my hand perfectly, left or right. The quiet blue glow just adds to its sleek shape and darkness. The side buttons are very useful, I use them more than I use the respective keys on my keyboard. Besides the beautiful design, the sensitivity is ridiculously accurate. If i want to make the tiniest movement, the mouse senses it. It never misses a movement, so its great when playing FPS or RTS games that need rapid movements and clicks. It's by far the best mouse I've ever used. | 7. de.monkeyz on 9/11/09 said:
I've only been using the Lachesis for a couple of days now, and it's fantastic. It glides across my mouse mat (unfortunately I don't have a razer one yet) extremely easily, I can move the mouse just as easily with just one finger. It looks good, especially the glowing razer logo, it feels good in my hand. I can switch hands if I ever want to (I'm left handed but use my mouse with my right most of the time). And the profiles are fantastic, I have it set to be my media controller during non game play, and then I have it switch when I run Crysis and other games. Truly an amazing mouse. | 8. Gigith on 9/7/09 said:
Higher DPI doesn't mean faster cursors, it can mean that, but you could always turn down the cursor speed, so it can either increase the precision of your already used speed or lower the amount of distance it takes to move the mouse around. (The ladder is best achieved with a higher friction mouse pad)
I've been using a Lachesis for about a year now and it's an amazing product, the configurable buttons are very useful, well, at least the left two and top two are, the right ones are for left handers, I assume. (Though I am left-handed, I hold the mouse with my right)
The only improvements I can think of is more button options, like the ability to set a button to toggle a key held or unheld, or to have the latest drivers fix" reverted which makes it so keys assigned to mouse buttons cannot be held but instead repeat destroying my ability to use the mouse to sprint crouch lean and so on.
Now that I think about it the scroll wheel takes a little too much pressure to click down but I have the top front button for that.
The design of the mouse is beautiful if I were a little kid I would likely play with it as if it were a spaceship it's pretty cool looking and it feels really comfortable.
It's a very good mouse I'm very satisfied with my purchase. | 9. Amel \'liqzEy\' Brkic on 9/6/09 said:
Well I am owner of this wonderfull peace of device already 10 hours.
I can say a real testing came in last 2 hours of my gaming how in public servers the same on some private 'match' servers etc... I'm a gamer not some professional since it's hard to travel arround the world bcs. of so many reasons and main one is my country Bosnia .. :) nvm on that MOUSE IS GREAT!!!
Yeah but if u ask why I rate it 4 / 5 stars it's only one reason.. I find some strange ' bug ' or error which I hope so will be really fixed soon with some newly drivers I have 1.10 drivers and firmware update 1.91 I didn't notice that this repeats often so that's GREAT! But it happend 2 times till now NOTHING SERIOUS THO cuz u will not regret any DOLLAR of this product if u buy it.
IT NEEDS - some time to adjust sensitivity it's little hard to do it (if u had previously some different mouse and less good then Lachesis like I had MX518) .. but belive me if u manage to finalise that u will be 1337 GAMoR arround ...
Also the feeling and ergonomics are really good after 2 - 3 hours or if u want 1-2 days (that would be max I supose) u will really get used to this mouse and enjoy it 2 max.
4000 DPI ... wow man... it's MUCH but u will not use it :D :D so don't cry for more DPI at ALL!
It's longer review but it's a first one from me..
I'm now proud owner of:
Lycosa Lachesis and Goliathus mouse pad... THANK U RAZER TBH. these things ROXXXXXXXX!
best combo ever! cheers -- keep up the good work (and some less expensive products :P ) | 10. freakyfatal1ty on 9/3/09 said:

i think the boomslang is awesome... i used to have the razer krait and i loved it... so much that i actually kicked out my girlfriend for smashing it against the table when the computer was doing something stupid... and now i have the boomslang and OMFG i love this one even more... so if my new lady smashes it against the table she's going out the window :P...
but anyways... the mouse feels alot more smooth in the movement than the krait did... it feels way more accurate when u aim in CS... but i gotta admit that getting used to it takes a while... i've had it since christmas now and i still havn't gotten used to the buttons on the sides... pretty nice to have reload at the thumb but i gotta admit that there is alot of reloading at really bad times... and going from a mouse the size of the krait and to the size of the boomslang is confusing, cuz its impossible to cover it with the palm
the reason i don't give it a 5-great is because the scroll doesn't always work and the mouse sometimes freezes and i've read about it on the internet trying to find out if it was a driver issue on vista and saw that alot of ppl had this problem with vista... so please razer make vista64 drivers and get the 5 that it deserves :) | 2. Ashfyr on 11/18/09 said:
Excellent, Great speed, Play MMORPG and FPS great. Love the look, though the mouse is slightly wider and thinner than what I was used to (Logitech Wireless mouse) | 3. Jackal on 5/2/09 said:
Out of the three items i ordered from here a year ago, this is the best.
The look is amazing. The green glow alone is why i bought it. I love the color, the feel, the texture (and i am big on texture/ feel of a mouse).
The big mouse took some getting used to, i was using logitech mice that were much thinner. But this mouse is great.
I use it constantly for playing games, I have never had it fail or be cumbersome.
Also because of its size, i figured this would not work good when it comes to a small mouse pad. I was wrong, its actually better on a smaller mouse pad (which i prefer). I set the sensitivity up, and all i need is my small mouse pad and this is 100% precise when it comes to aiming.
I played COD4 and 5, TF2, Left4Dead. counterstrike, and tons more games with this. If you are going to play shooters, this mouse will work perfectly for that.
If you are going to play a shooter and want a cool looking mouse that glows green through its mouse wheel and underneath, this is it. | 4. Steffan on 4/30/09 said:
this Mouse is one of the best gaming mouse you can get it's right in you hand and whit five bottums you dont need to move you fingers on the keyboard. best mouse i have play whit | 5. Tommy on 3/19/09 said:
I LOVE the Boomslang, I just ordered this one, but I have 2 other of the originals... one to replace the first one i got which was 10 years ago - i found this cool looking mouse in a beat-up, torn open box marked down to $20 - little did I know what I had just bought! Still am using the same one since then, buttons are sticking a bit but its still awesome! Won the other one online in case the 1st one dies of old age, but havnt opened it! I love the shape and how it definitely stands apart from any other mouse. Not having a good connection I stick to single player, so by that standard I'm not a gamer" - but i love the speed and accuracy that Razer has to offer.... thanks so much guys and really awesome job in product line - names and all!! And thanks again for bringing the Boomslang back! (yeah I'm 2 years late).... I think another upgrade might be due??? - keep the shape!! - | 6. D0M1N8R on 11/17/08 said:
Bought this mouse on release and as a boomslang fanboy I really love it but think the 2100DPI ball mouse was a bit more accurate. This mouse feels less accurate by a lot more then had been expected. I really wish they put the 4000DPI tech into this mouse. But I'm still using it since my 2100 tear and wear has got to the point of buttons starting to fail and I have already tried all the other mice (deathadder diamondback lachesis) and had to return them all because they are too narrow for my hands and thumb/pinky are too hard to press tossing aim off and creating hand cramps on long games. I've just sent feedback asking to continue this boomslang possibly with a 4000DPI new model. Hope you will do the same if you feel like me and think there is no replacement for boomslang design. | 7. wynnwong on 7/15/08 said:
with premium titanium finish but i recommend you to get Lachesis since it has a true 4000DPI 3G Laser sensor. Overall Boomslang CE is a pretty good choice.

Having purchased most of Razer's Ambidextrous mice in the past and having been very happy with them, I've always had the tendancy to be a bit clumbsy with side buttons which I usually disable. I also have fairly small hands so most mice take a fair bit of getting used to. I saw this little beastie and immediately ordered one and upon using for the first time, just couldn't believe how comfortable it was to use let alone no side buttons for me to misclick and THE most comfortable shape I've ever had the pleasure of handling. I just can't rave about this mouse enough and of course there is the usual accuracy of razer mice and excellent glide on my razer mouse mat. This is the" mouse I've been waiting a long time for and for me it has made gaming 100% more comfortable and enjoyable. Huge thanks razer! | 2. VestigeStorm on 1/27/10 said:
Well I actually wanted a DeathAdder as it had earn alot of awards . But cant afford it so i took a Razer Abyssus ... And guess what? Its Much better than Copper! My friend bought a copper and regretted it as the DPI is only 1.8k! It cause 40 $ more than a simple Razer Abyssus which is 3.5g and Acted so fast ! Just Love the Simple Design. Buy this If you cant Afford the others .. its just as great .. or MUCH ! :D | 3. SGkid on 12/4/09 said:
I did not get this mouse based on any reviews nor recommendations. I was browsing this site looking for a replacement for my 3yrs old microsoft mouse tried out the diamondback a great mouse but it didnt suit me at all because of the low dpi and obstructing side buttons.
I have always fancied a simple mouse with no side buttons as I am using the claw grip style it obstructs my play alot tho it helps at macro-ing. But Abyssus was different i fell in love with it at first sight then i realised this is a brand new mouse by razer with a state-of-the-art technology comparable with the higher end mouse but being alot cheaper and simpler.
So after 10hours of usage I would recommend anyone out there to get this mouse if you are : -using it with a claw grip style -looking for a light mouse that elevates ur game movements -wants an illuminated mouse that does not gets too hot in your hands after several hours. - high DPI fast response smooth click rubber scrolling wheels lastly - affordable.
What more to ask of? Btw get it with a thinner mousepad e.g sphex or kabuto to get real precise and accurate movements. | 4. Abyysus Proud Owner on 11/21/09 said:
If you are looking for a simplicity look no further get your hands on Abyssus. If you are looking for reliability this mouse will fulfill your need. If you are looking for performance this mouse is a beast. If you want to dominate your foes in game Abyssus will provide you the precision you need.

Great mouse. It's been about 8 months since I've used a gaming mouse, but comparing it to the mouse the I've been using for the past few weeks; I don't see how I even played shooters with that old thing. The Diamondback 3G doesn't jerk at all, its very nice and smooth when your moving your cross-hair over that enemy. It's make gaming a lot easier... | 4. ShadowViper0010 on 1/5/10 said:

The razer Diamonback 3g is an incredible gaming mouse. It has all those subtle features that you dont notice until you go back to a regular mouse on another persons computer. Its fast, but very accurate, like its reading your ming, coupled with a Goliathus gaming mat, this mouse has a fantastic response time and blistering finess.
the mouse is shaped just right, with an undercut shape so you can lift the mouse without thinking about holding it, sliip (idiot) proof buttons with a subtle and responsice click" and a wheel with just the right amount of resistance and just the right spin. its relatively light so those frantic frag fests will never slow you down but its weighty enough to not slide around of its own accord
all of these things you will rarely notice because as soon as you hold this mouse it will feel just right. its a wonderful mouse packed with premium features for a fantastic price. a real contender among ather gaming mice and the winner in my eyes | 8. davinci7 on 9/15/09 said:

I never bought a razor product in my life and thought this would be my first time trying it. I hesitated whether razor mices are worth purchasing but this mouse really shined. I simply loved this mouse the day It got opened from the box. It's really lightweight, precise and its value is definitely worth the cost to get it. I've been using a logitech mx518 mice for years and it end up malfunctioning a few days later. The salmosa feels light on the palm of my hand and it glides smoothly with the galiathus mat. I definitely recommend this for anyone that likes playing rts games and needs a solid but affordable gaming mice. | 2. Arthur on 9/28/09 said:
whether you're using this mouse for warcraft dota, starcraft, wow, or romantic-action-movie browsing, you will feel the speed you never felt before! I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and I have to say its well worth the money. Very responsive and comfortable. this is really great mouse,i know there are much great mice from razer, but with it's price,it's best for me :D I simply love this mouse. At first, when I acquired this mouse, i was hesitant. It was a totally different feel from my last PoS mouse.
Only 1 Con about this mouse. Lack of the 'MOUSE4' button.
Other than that. This mouse is a must-have for the price. I recommend this mouse to anyone on a tight budget.
On a side note, the shipping process was extremely fast. Pros: light, symmetrical, high DPI
Cons: No buttons on the side !! (BUTTON4, BUTTON5)
I used the Logitech mx310 for years and hesitated to upgrade. But Salmosa feels and glides so smooth !! Love it for fps games.
Go out and buy one for the low price ! | 7. Yan Guang on 6/7/09 said:
Dollar for dollar, pound for pound, the best mouse I have ever laid my grubby hands on. Goes well with my Razer eXactMat. Served me faithfully for at least 6 months. Need a decent mouse? On a budget? Buy this one. | 8. D34THZ0N3 on 5/1/09 said:
To start off this testamonal i would have to say that the value for money to game play ratio is all there if yous know what I mean. Brillent handelling and even tho its desined for finger tip players, I have to say thank you to the techs here at Razer for makeing a mouse that I cam play palmed with. I would say its the next best mouse to the Copperhead and theDeath adder and its worth the money. | 9. Night_Lord on 4/3/09 said:

i have had my krait for a little over a year... and i gotta say i have never enjoyed playing as much as after i got it, love the mouse no doubt... but as the others my left button also missfire sometimes... sometimes it doesn't register that i click it and sometimes it double clicks for me... i to am dissapointed that it does this after that short time compared to my old mouse a hp mouse that costed under 10$ and was with me for i think 5 years without a single malfunction, comparing them isn't possible the gaming quality of the krait is far far better but the durability of the dirt cheap hp slaps the krait around like a bitch
my overall rating is 4/5... the krait is awesome when it works perfect and by far better than hp and all other standard mice | 3. Matthew on 9/7/09 said:
Great for someone looking for an economic mouse at a good price. I always hated my wireless mice needing new batteries and this is clearly the best alternative. I bought my Razer Krait sometime around December last year. Now, the left click button is no longer responsive. And it's not even a year yet. I agree that Razer Krait is pretty good, and I've really enjoyed my games, but I'm disappointed at the quality. Right now, the left-click is sometimes not registered, or if I click, Krait receives it as a double click. And I thought that it would last me quite a while. I'm not much of a heavy gamer. I only play around 3-4 hours per week, so I don't really see why the Krait should spoil so quickly. I will continue to support Razer, but I do hope that the quality is improved. I have several other friends who have the same issue as me. Some use the DeathAdder, some use the Diamondback, but they experience non-responsive buttons in less than a year. 5/5 for the product, minus 1/5 for the disappointing quality. | 5. Stranix on 6/17/09 said:
I have used several gaming mice over the past 4 years, and this one was definitely my favorite based on performance. I play a lot of RTS where accuracy of movement and clicking speed win or lose games, and this mouse is the only one I have owned that meets my expectations. Extremely sensitive and responsive, you really will notice a major difference in using this mouse! I also love the grips on the side, when I grab a mouse I tend to clutch it more than anything, so they give you more control over the usual mouse.
Overall, easily a 5/5 product. | 6. Floor \'\'Apoplexy\'\' on 6/11/09 said:
Hello! I bought the Razer Krait mouse, just today, with a Goliathus control mouse pad. At first, i thought it wont be comfortable, because it looked just so small! After i tried it, it fit instantly, i configured it to the sensitivity i was used to and started playing. Also i like the glow, looks cool @ night :) The only con is , moar buttons! I used to have the buttons back/forward on my old mx518, miss em. But anyway, a great mouse, don't judge by size, try it for a day and you'll love it!
-DotA player. The Krait has everyone I want in a mouse , superb precision , a comfortable size , and ofcourse a great design.
There are probably many mice that can afford a similar gaming experience. I still prefer the Krait to other Razer models ,and other mice, cause of it's high quality , and tit keep things, the way I like it ,simple ...no extra (sometimes annoying in my eyes) sidebuttons getting in the way , there buttons that -are- on the Krait are comfortable, and impossible to miss (which is a good thing when playing fast paced RTS's or FPS games)
I couldn't recommend this mouse more, and when it's up for replacement ...it will probably be a new one of the same model .
(former owner of Razer Copperhead, Adder , Logitech's MX1000 and Revolution Wireless ones :p) ) I have been through 6 (including my new Razer Krait) gaming mice which are (according to buy time) Razer Copperhead, Razer Deathadder, Logitech MX518, Microsoft Sidewinder x5, Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical and my new Razer Krait.
Out of all gaming mice I've been through I prefer the Razer Krait. I'm not saying the other gaming mice are bad but I just like this one more and it's a little bit more to my type of gaming mouse.
The only problem I had with this mouse are the prediction or correction and laser engine. If Razer makes a new gaming mouse which is exactly the same as Razer Krait but with no prediction and optical engine instead of laser I definitely will buy it.
But overall I'll give it a 5/5 but if it was out of a hundred I'll give it a 95.
Thank you Razer for making this AWESOME product. For Gamers, By Gamers™ I've owned a lot of Gaming Mice. My first gaming mouse ever was the Copperhead, then the Deathadder, Logitech MX518, Microsoft Sidewinder X5, Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical and just got this mouse recently.
Even though this wasn't made for FPS games but I use this mouse to play CS, I was so amazed that I played better with this mouse, the only problem I have with this mouse is the 'Correction' or 'Prediction' and it's laser engine. If Razer makes a mouse just like this with no correction and optical, I would definitely buy it, but currently I'm going to stay with this mouse. Overall I think this is an AWESOME mouse, and out of all the mice I've owned, I prefer this one is my primary gaming mouse. I'm not saying the other ones are bad but I just like this one better than the other mice. (:
Kudos to Razer. For Gamers, By Gamers™ | 10. Jimmie on 3/11/09 said:
I would just like to say that the Razer Krait is an amazing mouse. Since I "claw-grip" my mouse, the smaller size makes it so easy and comfortable to use. I'm also a fan of the unique faint orange glow the rubber sides produce. It's not too bright nor too light, it's perfect. I game in COD4, TF2, L4D & WoW and can say that this mouse is not only just for MMO's, I get great response in every game I play. I can honestly say that this is the only mouse for me. Thank you Razer!
