i've had it over a year now and has been the best keyboard i have ever bought. all the keys still work perfectly and dont stick.looks and feels awesome and very durable, what else could you want? i will only buy razer products from now on!

its amazing. it does look great but the gloss finish is a dust magnet. the layout is great i can type much faster than i could on my old regular keyboard, the slim keys and rubber finish keys probably have something to do with that. the lycosa isn't as ridiculously sized as logitechs G" series. overall great keyboard

this keyboard is amazing for all of my games!! i'm such a hardcore gaming nerd and i'm not afraid to show it !!!

for all u other nerds out there like me....don't be afraid to embrace your inner nerd !! and don't be embarassed when your friend from work is coming over tonight because she probably doesn't even care anyway lol !!!

Really good keyboard! The only bad thing is that its getting dirty very fast.

This is a great keyboard a very solid finish and perfect for gaming. The media touch panel is really nice too. My fav keyboard for all time! Very Satisfy.

This is a great keyboard the keys are so soft like silk. The only downsite is that every fingerprint or dustpiece can be seen very clearly

But hey just clean it and it will be worth every penny...

hey dudes i just bought a lycosa normal edition... everything is normal... except for the wires... new wires are normally stiffer so i tried to bend it a little as im using a laptop.. when i bend the plastic connected to the keyboard came out a bit...

this is a great mouse but its not bright enough but other wise best keyboard i have used in a while.

I got this after I bought the Mamba and the Destructor. Razer has that effect making other peripherals and accessories seem like junk. There was now only one thing missing: Lycosa the perfect match for my desktop (glossy front black tower all blue LEDs glossy black 24" ws monitor). Not to mention the finest kb I've yet to use. The simple pleasure of typing without typos is owed directly to the layout and feel of the keytops. Love the illumination. The touch pad works flawlessly. The easiest macros I've ever written and used. Razer just flat-out rocks!

My review of the Razer Lycosa.

I have to say that this is a great keyboard.
I'm using it for 2 months now.
But i'm not giving it a 5/5 a 4/5 would do fine.
Why?

+Points:
+Layout is great. (azerty)
+Keys are great not too big or small great height. Nice smoothing on them too.
+Touchpad mediakeys are funky too.
+Nice finishing due the black gloss
+Macro system.

-Points:
-Black gloss is hard to clean due you need to be carefull how to clean it. Although it's a great vision of the keyboard.
-The azerty layout is pure French even in Belgium while we have a Belgium (Dutch) layout.
-Touchpad mediakeys is missing the Mute button + the volume +/- is of the system instead of the mediaplayer.
-Macro system is difficult to configure with the ingame stuff only good for programs atm.
And it doesn't support all games (expl. ZeroOnline)
I wouldn't recommend it to kids who don't know how to do it even with the manual.
-Support for Windows 7 32/64but would be nice. v2.04 is getting outdated by now.

Until last night I thought this keyboard was just pretty nice. The backlighting is good, the controls for music was good and everything was just what I ordered. Till last night, when playing a game and drinking some beer with my friend I ended up spilling a little bit of beer right ON my keyboard. I figured, well bout time to get a new keyboard I guess." But I flipped the keyboard over cleaned it off and the only thing wrong this morning was that some of the keys were a little gummed. After popping off the affected keys not only was it easy to clean them It really looks like Razer was one step ahead and made it almost impossible to kill this keyboard with a drink. (which I was talking about with my friend right after I spilled how if I made a keyboard I would have done the exact same thing as Razer has actually done.

Props to Razer for being ahead of the game.

I had a Razer tarantula keyboard and I loved it but I wanted a keyboard with a backlight and be a little smaller because the Tarantula was so big with the battlelight. I use it for my other PC now. On my gaming PC I use this keyboard now and I have had it for about a month and i love it and I haven't had any problems with it in anyway. It is easy to smudge but the cloth i got with it works just fine.

I switched to this after having the Steelseries ZBoard for a couple of years (back When Ideazon still manufactured it). And I have to say it's fantastic the slim keys are easy to press so easy in fact I'm forgetting so my right hand tends to type faster than my left and I end up messing up spelling since I'm still compensating for thicker keys. This is the first product I've had from razer and I'm very impressed the mirror finish looks fantasic the backlit keys are beautiful and the profile software is fantastic. I'm a programmer as well as a gamer and I've set up profiles for my code editor so I can insert code with just a press of the function keys amazing to use for gamers and non-gamers. Buying this keyboard convinced be to get a mouse from Razer so I also recently purchased the Lachesis. The only complaint I have with the keyboard is the media keys touchpads tend to not agree with me so it's not Razer's fault but I've solved the issue by programming the Lachesis to act as my media controller. Top notch products I've fallen in love with razer :)

this keyboard from my point of view is one of the best gaming keyboard that razer have ever produce. this keyboard is stylish and very easy to used. the driver that comes with the package is very user friendly. i believe gamers and those how are stating to be come more serious should get this keyboard. i would like to compare this keyboard to logitech G15 gaming keyboard first of all the macro functions i limitless in the lycosa compare to the G15 Version one/ the first G15 is only 54 programmable buttons. Looking form the stature of the product it self. it is clear that Lycosa have a smaller foot print compare to both version of the G15s. there is similarity between the two product both got windows disable button and both got lighted keyboard. Similarity end there Lycosa offer better comfort compare to the bulky G15 (this only apply to the version one) better response time and better fell. On the other hand G15 have its own distinct feature that is the lcd on the keyboard. From my personal experience using the G15 the lcd didnot gave you any advantages. its there to show you information that is irrelevant in order to improve your gaming skills.

This keyboard has a VERY simple layout that dosn't confuses me on the battlefield and its illumination matched my copperhead and my computer and my other components with stylish design the touch panel makes it VERY easy to switch music im listening to while playing games so i dont have to ALT TAB all the time and makes my character idle and absent on the battlefield...the hyper response keys made me unmatchable with other players on kinfe vs knife fights on COD4 . I can easily bring this keyboard to cyber cafes since the keyboard has slim design and open gaps in the middle to coil the wires around....but sadly this keyboard isnt really for music games just like O2 JAM Superdancer online cos it dosnt have fully antighosting (exept for WASD) but hey I dont even play those games xD

The best keyboard i have ever used in my life it is so great
1- It looks great
2-So sensitive and very fast response
3-The LED keys is very very helpful feature you will not get the help of the monitor light
4-I can not rate the touch panel bec. min does not work :-( :::::: but it is ok i was not going to use it any way

Fortunately after I had ordered it was delivered 1day later. First I was just staring at this keyboard admiring its stunning looking. When I held it in my hands I felt it just so light like it aint an expensive and exclusive thing just some kinda paper. The shape and the design of it are really awesome and when I press the keys its so nice to hear its smooth voice. The only negatives I can mention is that every single fingerprint or dust is clear and the buttons are also barely visible when its not lit and so is the touchpad. But apart from that its a great choice of a gaming keyboard I could recommend it anyone who has cash to spend and who loves stylish accessories.

Ok forgetting the product for a second. I ordered on a monday and THAT WED i got my keyboard! Standard shipping........ Thats freaking oustanding guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO far i love it I love that it glows blue i love the feel of it and i love how easy it is to use the config program to alter profiles etc etc!!
