Utilizing next generation HRTF technologies and a superb DSP with unheard of processing power, the Razer Megalodon is the most advanced audio headset of its kind.
	Razer Maelstrom Audio Engine Hear your enemies before you see them with 7.1 channel virtual surround sound. If the sound source  does not support 7.1 or 5.1 Surround Sound, the Megalodon will also perform as a quality Stereo Headset with a deep thumping bass.
	Onboard Audio Processing Offload the Virtualisation of the Surround Sound to the internal sound card and take the demand off your CPU.

   it`s great and i love it.
   i can hear everything, everyone
   and know where they are.
   just folow the sound of footsteps,
   so its almost a wallhack.
   And when i get killed i know they was
   there but i didn`t react.
   But in FPS, Campers and Snipers are a problem
   NO SOUND!!!!
   if that sniper miss, u can hear the sound of the bullet
   penetrates the air right behind your head.
   the u know u sould run, but then u know where too run!!!

   No specific driver needed - you can start using it on any computer within 5-6 seconds.
   
   Megalodon is great for watching movies, playing games, even if they don't provide 5.1/7.1 sound. Superb sound quality. Bought a Blu-ray Avatar the other day, watched it with Megalodon headset - it's like I went to cinema one more time. Each channel + subwoofer can be adjusted with several simple clicks.
   
   Mic - perfect, easy adjustable. People here me as if I was just in front of them. Mic can be muted instantly when needed.
   
   Comfortable for ears, adjustable by size.

   I got the megalodon about 2 weeks ago and in short:I love it!!!
   The sound's great,it's plug and play in the exact meaning of the word
   and the mic's awesome. I talked over steam with someone in asia and he could hear me perfectly.
   this shows the epicness of the mic because vc without static from Belgium to somewhere in Asia's pretty far.
   on CoD 4 servers i ask people if they can hear me.
   almost evryone can,and if they can't i can tune the mic in about 10 seconds
   and be heard loud and clear again.
   in short: this baby doesn't only put sound in it's place but vc to.
   game on razer!!
   
   ps:anyone knows if there's more left handed mouses coming up?

   As beeing an MMO'er for about the last 6 years, i have hade many speakers and headsets that have been ling out of the window right in to the garbage, cause of bad miicrophone quallity, or sound not beeing crystal clear,
   
   So i thought ill give this on a try,
   i opend my package and saw how neatly this one of a kind headset was beeing distributed, afet giving this baby a try for over a week on diffrent games suck as: WoW, Aion, WAR: age of reckoning, Dead or alive 1 and 2 quake and CCS, i was stunned by what this this suround headset can do, Im hearing things i have ever heared before, in FPS games i hear the bullets of my enemy's fall right, in MMO's ever step taken by me or raid members is heard, as for ever little spell beeing cast, Ventrilo and Teamspeak have never been as much as a joy to me as it is now, every singel thing is crystal clear.
   
   the 7.1 suround engine is made out of pure awsomness, Bleu ray mivies in full HD have never sounded more clear to me through speaker or headset then when i wear this Headset.
   
   Razer you have outdone yourselfs again, a big hail to the Dev team and everyone who made the gaming expirience a treu expirience by your products

   The sound quality is excellent, although it is sometimes somewhat tricky to distinguish the rear and front speaker from the centre ones. The Maelstrom is easy to use and configure, even on-the-fly, as it should be. The headphones itself is very comfortable and light.
   The microphone is simply superb; I used it with Skype once, and it had no static at all! Simply great.
   But that's what you'd expect for that money. What I didn't expect and pleasantly surprised me was the effort put in the product as a total: braided cables, a hard casing, fancy lights, etc.
   I'm planning to use this headphones for 10 years or longer, and I think that's quite realistic.
   In short: excellent product, worth the money!
