I'm a Mac/windows user, and bought this mouse especially for my macbook pro. Orochi - what's good: The mouse moves perfectly also in bluetooth mode, which is awesome. The mouse bottom suface also runs fucking smoothly on almost any surface. The principal buttons and mouse wheel are perfect. Mouse form-factor is perfect. Bluetooth mode is good for gaming. Wired mode is awesome for gaming. The Usb cable is really a good cable. On board memory OWNS. The windows software to register macros is excellent. The windows software overall is excellent.
Orochi - what's bad: -The mac software is not complete, it misses any advanced feature like buttons customization and macro management. Considering that is mouse could be the best mouse around for mac (any mac has bluetooth), this is really sad. Razer, update software please. -The side buttons could be a bit bigger, they are a bit hard to press, but you'll get used to ;) -Bluetooth mode goes in standby too soon, it sux. You can live with it, but a software update to let the user chose how many time the mouse should wait before going into standby should be great. (by default it's something like 5 seconds..) | 2. Razer orochi, is the smallest, coolest gaming mouse i've ever seen. I recieved this morning the package, and till now, it is all i expected it to be.
Also the plastic cover is quite easy to get of, and it has three magnets, it's not like some others that feel like they are going to break when you pull it up, and it is virtually impossible to take of, if you don't want to. I am left handed, and right now I am using this mouse on my desktop. I bought this one in stead of Lachessis, because when ever I go to college or so, where mice are configured for right handed guys, I can have my left handed mice, and that's the point of it's size, you could put it in your inside pocket and bring it with you any where without even noticing it's there.
If you usually use a lot of different computers, where mice are odd, and would like that every computer you use has the same mice, this is your choice.
It is just pure gold. | 3. Archeange on 10/29/09 rated this product: | |
