I got these to replace my Barracudas and though the sound from the Barracuda's is phenominal, I was constantly stricken with headaches. This headset is so good. It's got everything I've ever thought would be better with all the previous ones I've owned.
The muffs are big enough to go over my whole ear comfortably. The material on the inside of the muffs are about half a centimeter away from the speaker itself, so if you have large ears they won't be pushing on the plastic casing of the speaker and it won't get uncomfortable. I've had that problem with most of my other headsets. Your ear lobe sits comfortably in them and doesn't get stuck between the side of your head and the round bit. All the material is VERY soft and it's so light.
I've been wearing it for about 8 hours a day for almost a week now and it doesn't start to hurt your neck after a while. It also doesn't feel like one side is being pulled down more than the other because the cable is heavy, as this cable's braided and very light. The volume control on this would be irritating but they've made up for that by putting a clip on it so you can attach it to your pocket or something and can't feel it. The sound quality's also very sharp and the microphone's very clear.
I can't express how happy with this product I am and if you're considering getting one, it's definitely worth it! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a headset that they can wear for 10 hours+, want clear, high quality sound and a microphone they can get out of the way when they want to. | 5. I got these to replace a 4 year old set of Logitechs. These are better on the ears, and as I run an internet radio, I wear them 4 or 5 hours at a stretch. The cloth pads are a godsend, as is the top pad. Sound quality is phenomenal. The microphone is good quality also. The only drawback is the microphone seems to echo a bit when I talk. I'm not sure if this is related to the software I use to stream or not.
